May 2020 Family Catch-Up on House Quarantines

Life keeps going whether we are together or apart.  Home schooling, work, play and life.  Here's a bit of what happened in May.

Cameron graduates from High School.
Taylor finishes his 10th grade year and celebrates with a little repelling down Dixie rock.  Home school gave him an advantage of having mother, grandmother, father and grandfather helping on the physics project, math and English.  It takes a village.

At Curt and Mel's they kept the kids working.  Curt made LaLa polish the boat.  Mel helped them make wonderful cards for Mother's day

They came down and enjoyed the warm weather and Brooklyn learned to swim without a floaty.  They were all brave going down the slide and jumping off the rock.
We also enjoyed making the first smores on the firepit.
Sacrament meetings don't look quite the same, but the kids are ready for primary. We sang a song, prayed, and partook of the sacrament.  These new sacrament meetings have a very special spirit.
At Marc and Brittney's, they have been busy with homeschooling.  This is a Friday treat run.  They didn't do this when I went to school.  Brittney has certainly had a challenge teaching four children at home, and she has done a great job.  Even Kacy has learned her numbers and made her very own hopscotch.

They came to visit the first week in June and we hiked to the petroglyphs, ate smores, swam and swam and swam some more.

As for us, we did a few razor rides for fun.  This is to Black Top Mountain and the fire look out station.  A fun picture with Spragues who just started into razoring.

This little fellow is Quinn Butcher - Cherry and Lucy's new son.  He was born in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic and is very healthy.

Theron and his struggle with year 69

In the year of the pandemic, people still have birthdays.  Theron just celebrated his birthday this May 21, 2020, and turned the largest number in the 60's - 69.  He is still great at 69, he is still very healthy at 69, he is still very active at 69, and he is still getting better with age.

To celebrate, we drove north and the entire family was at Marc and Brittney's home.  This was our first family get together of the year and we combined Theron's birthday with Cameron's graduation and all other things we have missed during our quarantines.

Happy Birthday Love !

A New Year - 2024

As with all new years, I approach it with some goals in mind and expecting changes to occur in both our life and the lives of our family.  ...
