On June 14, this year, we celebrated our 40th anniversary. What a ride these past 40 years have been. We have traveled around the world, raised three of the greatest children on earth, served a mission, lived in Chicago and Minnesota, had great careers and still kneel in prayer each night before we go to bed! I know I couldn't have dreamed of a life more wonderful.We had a hard time deciding how to celebrate and decided on a Corvette trip to Lake Tahoe, Nevada. It was perfect. We drove to Reno and completely around Lake Tahoe, visited Carson City and Nevada City and drove Highway 49 with all the little towns along the way. We hiked at Emerald Bay, visited the Donner Museum and drove around Donner Lake, ate at Jax Truckee Diner in Truckee, walked the old towns and even rode an old train in Carson City.
The ride was beautiful and the weather was perfect for a little convertible driving.
