It is only on rare occasions that our entire family is together, this Easter was one of those rare occasions. It was wonderful to eat dinner together, watch the kids look for Easter eggs and roll Easter eggs. The one thing I noticed right off was the age difference of Cameron and Taylor and Mason and Ali Jo. I had a very good idea (oh, I like thinking of something novel once in awhile). Theron had a great time hiding the color coded eggs - Cameron's were blue; Taylor's were green; Mason's were yellow and Ali Jo's were pink. It's so good to have a little girl that can be attached to pinks.
By color coding the eggs, we controlled the hunt and everyone got equal eggs and of course the dollars that were in them. Not to forget the adults, each one of us got one egg with our name on it and a whole five dollars. Wow, what a pay day.
Theron and I had a great time boiling 4 dozen eggs, coloring them and then giving them to everyone to throw down the hill -- why do we do an Easter egg roll?
Easter is not just for fun and family, but it is all about the atonement of Jesus Christ. My dear family he has made it possible for us to be together forever, let us all live in such a way that we will make his unselfish act the greatest thing in the world.
